Youth Mentoring for 2018 for various programmes for Sec Sch students.

Requirements
• Volunteers’ age group (18 – 35 years old)
• Interest in outdoors activities and working with youth
• Able to commit to 80% of mentoring schedule
• Commit to a mentoring relationship with the mentees that will last at least 10 months
• Group mentoring ratio of 2: 5 (mentors to mentees)
• Update on mentees’ progress fortnightly via reports
• Complete pre and post quantitative and qualitative feedback

Please indicate the following preferences:
Level: Lower Sec Students / Upper Sec Students / Any
Location in Singapore: East / West / North / South / Central / Any

1. Applicants will be invited for screening interview.
2. Successful applicants will be required to attend compulsory basic mentoring training in Jan/Feb 2018.

Be part of Mendaki Club volunteers who focusing on career-related events and workshops for youths, recent graduates and young professionals. Meeting will be held twice a month from 7:30pm - 9:30pm. The first meet up will be on 13 April 2018.

Various roles available:
1. Marketing & Advertising (e.g. Social media, Print, etc.)
2. Programme Planning (e.g. Event organisation, Scheduling, Coordination with partners, etc.)
3. Participant Management (e.g. Data management, Manage sign-ups before and on event day, etc.)
4. Logistics (e.g. Venue, Food, Collaterals, Stage backdrop, etc.)
5. Volunteer Welfare and Engagement (e.g. Creating opportunities for everyone to have fun!)

Our next event will be on 27 July at Bishan CC. As part of our JUMP! Together campaign, we aim to bring together different groups of people from all walks of life through one medium: dance. We would like YOU to be part of our FIRST FLASH MOB.

PA MESRA’s opening show of Gentarasa 2018 – Bersatu Menuju Kesejahteraan .

The opening show of Gentarasa 2018 – Bersatu Menuju Kesejahteraan (Together Towards Harmony) is a cultural production that celebrates the progress and aspirations of the Singapore Malay community.

The production will also showcase the importance of living harmoniously with one another. It promises to be a spectacular production that reflects the importance of preserving our culture, family values and community spirit in Singapore. For the first time, the production will be presented in an open community hub so as to allow for a better outreach.

Volunteers are invited to view the opening show and enjoy themselves. If interested, kindly register.
